Surrey Parent Training Programmes
Parenting always comes with a mix of joys and challenges, and for parents of autistic children, there can be additional layers to navigate. Our parent training programmes offer a welcoming space to deepen your understanding of autism and explore practical ways to support your child. They also provide the chance to connect with other parents and carers, share experiences, and learn together in a relaxed, supportive environment.
Surrey offers a range of six‑part programmes for parents and carers of children and young people with autism or suspected autism. These programmes are available both in person and online across the county. To take part, your child must either live in Surrey or attend a Surrey education setting.
The parent training offer is coordinated by the Autism Outreach team based at Freemantles School. Our team of trainers includes experienced professionals from education, health, and charitable organisations across Surrey, all working together to support families.
